Although I’m an avid Mac user, I believe that Ubuntu is a valid alternative for those who cannot run a Mac on their existing hardware. Windows is my least choice of all 
I agree.Ubuntu is a good alternative for those who can’t run Mac OS on their hardware. I would pick Ubuntu over Windows any day. I am excited to try out the new Ubuntu when it comes out.
